About Us
The club first came to life in 1964, officially starting in 1966 and running until 1970. After a short break, we got going again in 1979—and we’ve been active ever since!
Despite the name, we’re not just about Strathaven. Our members come from all over—Hamilton, East Kilbride, Ayrshire, Glasgow, and Aberdeen. And we’re not just climbers either. Whether you’re into hillwalking, mountaineering, winter climbing, or spending time on the crags, you’ll find plenty of like-minded people here.
